This work is harmonically very simple. The slow movement is only 10 bars long and does not contain repeats. This movement is accompanied only by the basso continuo, making it sound like a sonata. The ritornellos in the finale are full of excitement, created by the imitation between all of the voices.

Our edition is based on the autograph score held at Biblioteca Nazionale Universitaria, Turin (I-Tn): Foà 29, f.219-226 This set includes the score and all parts. For a cello part with fingerings and bowings see the piano reduction.
