Franchomme - 12 Caprices, Op. 7 (Urtext edition)

For the first time, Franchomme’s beautiful Caprices are available in an Urtext edition. These elegant and idiomatic works reflect Franchomme’s refined sense of melody, phrasing, and cello writing, offering players both technical study and expressive musical substance.

Unlike solo caprices, these pieces include a second cello accompaniment, making them especially useful for lessons, studio classes, and recitals. Our edition is based on the first edition published by Janet et Cotelle in the 1830s.
