Dvořák’s Kéž duch můj sám, Op. 82, No. 1 (Leave Me Alone), is one of his most haunting songs. Dvořák later used this lovely melody in his famous Cello Concerto in B minor, where it appears as one of the concerto’s most personal and expressive musical ideas.
