Bloch: Schelomo, Rhapsodie hébraïque, solo cello part with fingerings and bowings

Bloch’s Schelomo has been a central work in the cello concerto repertoire for nearly a century. This urtext edition of the solo cello part is fully based on Bloch’s autograph manuscript, which the composer corrected in 1920 and which contains important details never before published in a solo cello part.

The edition restores information from the manuscript and provides a corrected performing text for advanced cellists, teachers, and performers preparing one of the major works of the repertoire. Critical notes are included, offering insight into the editorial decisions and into details missing or altered in earlier printed sources.
