The autograph score in pencil contains 3 versions of the first movement, the most complete of which has the exposition through bar 89 in the development. The second movement contains the first 51 bars. There is also an 8-bar sketch of another movement. It is purported that Mstislav Rostropovich had a personal copy of a fugue movement. To date, the fugue has not come to light.
